What do we do?

Redbourn Parish Council supports local organisations, seeks to enhance the Redbourn Community and protect the Green Belt.

Redbourn Parish Council is responsible for:

  • Cumberland Garden
  • Dog bins in village
  • Play areas on East Common, Long Cutt, Flamsteadbury Lane, Silkmill Road;
  • The Nickey Line (section through Redbourn)
  • Old Station Yard Millennium Site
  • The Parish Centre
  • Parish Paths (under Parish paths Partnership)
  • Redbourn Common
  • Rose Garden
  • Seats in village 
  • The Parish Council is the Trustee of the Redbourn Village Hall
  • It reviews and comment on planning applications within the Parish
  • It liaises with relevant authorities regarding infrastructure,  policing and community issues to represent your views
  • It engages with all interested parties regarding the current and future shape of life in the Parish
